Battle the Beach- The fittest teaser for Warnemünde

The Battle the Beach in Rostock directly on the beach of Warnemünde goes into the next round. From August 26th to 28th, 2022 there will be heavy lifting, fighting and suffering again. A total of 360 athletes will start in five different divisions.

Who is on site?

As a team competition, both men and women can show their skills as teams. There are also mixed teams and scaled divisions. Applause from the ranks breaks down in waves through several thousand expected spectators on the athletes. The event is rounded off by an impressive Vendor Village. From Concept2 to Nocco, Joybräu and Eleiko to wodstore and Lift Heavy, well-known manufacturers are at the start to provide the surrounding area with the necessary portion of everyday fitness.

It's not just the athletes getting in shape

Eleiko started yesterday and provided the equipment. It should be clear to you what needs to be logistically organized accordingly. Without getting too specific about the workouts, tons of irons, tons of bumper plates and tons of boxing supplies were dumped here. Warnemünde beach is slowly but surely turning into a second muscle beach. One can only hope that none of the suppliers seriously get stuck in the beach. Because if you do, the first workout changes to a community car pull (as almost as possible, of course).

wodstore exclusive: We reveal a movement

The wodstore has the rare honor of being able to reveal a movement: Wallwalks in the sand are part of the competition. Already in the Open Workout 21.1. rows of athletes literally fell off the wall. However, Battle the Beach tops it all off. There is no grip in the sand. It's yielding, it gets hot, it digs in places it doesn't belong. All in all, a decent feat of strength is inevitable. However, whether the wallwalks take place under pre-exercise conditions or whether they will test your fitness as a debut within the competition is entirely up to your imagination.

All in all, the signs are good. The weather is playing into the hands of the event, with a 9-euro ticket, the main tourist season and excellent media work, a lot of alarm is expected from the stages. The team around the battle is already warming up, the pressure is increasing.
